In April 2011, clubs held their annual End of Year Celebration at Mesa's Banner Hospital. The Jasmine Awards were presented to individual leaders and each club made a presentation of their year's activities.
In March 2010, many of the Trendsetters gathered at the Red Mountain Ranch Country Club to share and celebrate their service projects and accomplishments. It was an exciting day that included amazing posters and club member presentations.
While at the multi-club meeting, Trendsetters learned about the Pennies for Peace program; some of the clubs will be participating by collecting pennies that will go to support schools and education in Afghanistan and Pakistan. Even one penny can purchase a pencil for a student so every little bit donated really does count.
The Pennies for Peace program is based on Greg Mortenson's work. Trendsetters are pleased to be able to help people in their own neighborhoods as well as people around the world.
